Dante

We don’t know much in terms of what role Dante will play in the show, but it is clear that he will not be fulfilling the exact same storyline that his comic counterpart does.

Angela Kang offered a small hint of what’s to come with Dante’s introduction to the show in season 10 during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, claiming that “in our world… he will play an important role in the story in Alexandria.”

This leads me to believe that Dante may be introduced as a likable good guy early on, only for the audience to find out that he has a reason for hating the Whisperers and thus is behind the propaganda campaign.

Additionally, Kang deliberately mentions Alexandria when discussing Dante’s story. She could have just said “the group’s story” or something along those lines, but she particularly noted Alexandria. It may seem like a stretch, but Dante could be involved in this mental warfare threatening to divide the group apart.

With such little information about the character to go on, it is difficult to say for sure where his story will go. Based off Angela Kang’s words, though, it is certainly possible that Dante plays a role in the propaganda aspect of the Whisperer War within Alexandria’s walls.
