2. Making new allies

With his release, there are some issues that might arise. The biggest involves how the other survivors might feel about him being free and moving about Alexandria, especially if he is unsupervised and able to do anything he desires.

There are a lot of people who may not be ready to forgive Negan or those he may not have forgiven. Everyone at the lineup who watched Negan beat Glenn and Abraham to a bloody pulp likely will never forget that moment and many more people lost people during All-Out War.

Not only that, but there are some people who betrayed Negan. Of course, Eugene is on the top of that list thanks to his faulty bullets, but there were others including former members of the Saviors who he isn’t too excited about seeing.

It will be difficult, but bygones should be bygones. Things that happened during a war shouldn’t be forgotten, but those wounds can heal over time. Hopefully, Negan can eventually be accepted fully as a member of Alexandria or whatever community he chooses…but that will take time and effort.
