1. Getting parole

Thanks to the release of the season 10 trailer for The Walking Dead, fans now know that Negan will be released from his cell and will be allowed to at least take part in some gardening or perform other jobs in Alexandria.

Negan needs to be freed, but doing so in small intervals while supervised might be a good way to ease him into the community. Having someone watch him while he tends to the tomatoes or does some manual labor around the community can help show he can contribute and can be trusted.

However, there is also the chance that the survivors wait too long to let him out and don’t have the time to acclimate him to society. With so many fatalities at the hands of the Whisperers and the likelihood of more issues arising, they’ll need more hands on deck to help.

No matter what happens with how Negan gets out, it’s when he gets out that people will need to pay attention to. Can he behave enough to stay out of his cell? Is he really a changed man? Almost anything can happen when Negan is involved.
