Tess

The trucks come down the road. Sarah is singing their theme song about driving a convoy across the USA. Charlie says they really love their trucker music. Dwight says they only listen to trucker music. Salazar doesn’t believe it’s music, but Sarah insists that it’s their anthem. It keeps her going while Wendell is back with the kids in “Tank Town.” This is the first mention of the kids and Wendell, and she says that the camp’s location is need to know only. Salazar says that they should have shut Logan’s mouth because no good can come from him knowing anything.

Back at Tess’ house, Tess asks if they think her husband will be back soon. The mines are all over and the noise from the explosion will attract walkers. She explains to Morgan that her husband went to the drugstore to get an inhaler for her son with asthma. He’s ok for now but he will need the medicine. John calls Alicia and June for help on a run for supplies. Morgan invites her to go outside, and she sees the cameras from inside and they tell her that they’re filming to help people.

Al cuts in to say that they’re trying to reach people who didn’t see the plane. They haven’t figured out how they’ll make it so that people can watch the videos, but they’re hoping it helps somehow.

Tess tells Morgan that she hasn’t been outside of the house since everything fell apart. He understands, saying that it took him a long time to leave the first place where he had been hiding out. Al listens to him intently, knowing that this is a key part of Morgan’s story.

Later, she asks him about it. Why did he stay so long. “Just did,” he replies.

Back at the house, Morgan promises Tess that they’ll stay there until her son gets what he needs. John tries to clear the walkers, but the noise is drawing more of them. He tells Al that after flying the plane, finding someone’s husband isn’t the biggest problem anymore.

June and Strand go to the drugstore and June grabs some new supplies but doesn’t see any inhalers. They decide that he must have already been there, so they’ll need to find him. Alicia says that they decided to split up, and soon we see her with a tree that has a message painted on it: “If you’re reading this, you’re still here.” She traces the words with her fingers. June calls in that she hasn’t seen anything, nor has Strand. They call Alicia.

Alicia tells Al that her mom used to look for little bits of good in the world every time she went out. Back at the tree, Strand runs up as a walker approaches Alicia and she backs away since she isn’t killing right now. As the interview resumes, Alicia notes that she hasn’t killed since they landed the plane because she doesn’t want to go back there.
