Alexa Nisenson taking over the Fear the Walking Dead Instagram account

Fear the Walking Dead’s youngest cast member is taking over the show’s social media sites ahead of Sunday’s episode 512, “Ner Tamid.”

When Charlie first arrived back in the early days of Fear the Walking Dead season 4, there was no sense of how long she would last. These days, the teen has weathered some of the darkest times with the rest of the group and she’s a valuable member of the team. Actress Alexa Nisenson will be on hand to chat with fans during her Instagram takeover on September 1 ahead of episode 512.

In “Ner Tamid”, Charlie meets a Rabbi who has been surviving on his own through the apocalypse. Like Salazar, the Rabbi proves to be an inspiration to the teen as she searches for meaning in the face of all the darkness.

With so much of season 5 focusing on the theme of redemption, Charlie’s new friend will no doubt provide her with much-needed support and guidance.

Fear the Walking Dead fans will have a chance to chat with Nisenson as she takes over the Fear TWD Instagram account on Sunday, September 1. Like other IG takeovers, Nisenson will no doubt have lots of behind the scenes pictures and fun memories from her time on set. (And we’re hoping for at least one picture with Skidmark!)

Charlie had a lot to overcome after her debut on the show. Not only was she a double agent for the Vultures, but she was also the one who killed Nick. (In fairness, Frank Dillane was leaving the show already so someone had to do it…) In spite of those early days, Charlie has proved to be a very valuable member of the team. She’s willing to run head-first into dangerous situations, earning the trust and respect of Strand and Salazar who see the teen’s pluck as a huge asset.

Nisenson’s big moment on the show came in episode 410, “Close Your Eyes.” Stuck in a hurricane with Alicia, the two young women are forced to deal with their differences and they came out stronger on the other side of it. Though fans already know how talented Alycia Debnam-Carey is, it was Nisenson’s performance that really stole the show.
