The Walking Dead: 8 things we missed in the time jump from season 9 to 10
5. The Status At Hilltop
When Ezekiel and other members of the Kingdom arrived at Hilltop, it looked like the people who lived there were gone. In the season 10 premiere Ezekiel, Jerry and several members of the community formerly known as the Kingdom were in Oceanside to help with training, but there was no mention of the Hilltop and what’s happening there.
Is Ezekiel a permanent resident at Hilltop, or has the Hilltop been abandoned like the Kingdom? We’d like to know more about the Hilltop and how the community has been doing lately.
4. Lydia’s Integration Into The Alexandria Community
When Lydia arrived in Alexandria, she quickly became involved in a massive snowball fight. It was a cathartic release for the tired and weary travelers after they navigated the massive snowstorm. But what happened when the snow melted?
Though Lydia was not responsible for what happened on the hill with the pikes, there are many people who would consider her guilty by association. For some people, the fact that her mother was the one who committed such an atrocious act means that she’s a reminder of what happened. For others, including Daryl and Carol, Lydia was just a young girl who was born into the wrong set of circumstances.
We see a glimpse of life for Lydia in the season premiere, but it would be nice to see how the early days were for her and how she was received. It’s easy to imagine that Daryl had to stand up for her in the beginning until people learned that she was not a threat.
