Negan meeting Beta should please all fans of The Walking Dead

Showrunner Angela Kang confirmed an encounter between Negan and Beta in season 10 of The Walking Dead. How will the two interact?

Season 10 of The Walking Dead has been packed full of action and surprises. We got to see Negan put himself out there in a positive way to save Lydia, which won over some fans. Viewers also got to see an entire episode dedicated to the Whisperers and their freaky origin. Shedding light on who Beta was near the start, and how he was even Beta before the Whisperers.

On an episode of Talking Dead, showrunner Angela Kang confirmed that Negan and Beta would come face to face. Negan is now free and able to do anything he pleases, and I am hopeful that will happen in episode 1005 will go down as a fan favorite!

In the comics this pair is truly hysterical, I am certain fans of all kinds will enjoy this meeting and when it does go down there is a chance the episode will become a fan-favorite among the #TWDFamily.

The Walking Dead fandom is one of huge proportions, we are millions strong! Such a large fan base will have smaller sections that have favorites. This is one moment however I feel will be loved by all because there are moments for everyone. Negan/Beta/Whisperer/comic fans will all enjoy seeing this brought to life in a way that is memorable for their favorites. Also, people who have never read the comics and fans who hate these characters will find enjoyment!

A bold statement perhaps, but let me go into detail of how this could unfold using the comics as a guide but not delivering spoilers. Negan, is well, so incredibly Negan. He is mouthy, he is sarcastic and he speaks his mind with everything he does. Do the whisperers stink? He would be the one to call it out! Is Beta intimidating and the height of a tall Christmas tree? He will certainly acknowledge that!

Not a fan of Negan? That’s okay! It’s likely that Beta won’t be either. These two are opposites, we have one person who never shuts up, and we have another who will shut anyone up. So if you want Negan silenced, Beta agrees! When I read the interactions between these two characters in the comics, I had tears in my eyes from laughing. I thoroughly enjoyed this so much it became a highlight of the comics for me.

According to previews, season 10 episode 5 of The Walking Dead seems to have a focus on not only Negan but also the Hilltop and King Ezekiel. So there is always a chance that Negan’s story in this episode could end on a small cliffhanger and show Negan just at the edge of the Whisperers camp, or near meeting a Whisperer. Truly only time will tell!
