The Interesting Stuff!
Why aren’t more people getting sick? I refuse to believe that there are people in Alexandria who aren’t drinking any water over the course of two days. Not only would that be extremely unhealthy but it just isn’t something people do unless there’s a hidden stash of Gatorade somewhere.
Bonding with a Whisperer. It’s weird to see Aaron and Gamma interacting, talking about kids, family, and supplies. This feels like it is going to be an important part of the show going forward and something to watch develop as season 10 goes on.
Kill them with kindness? When Carol walked in with the covered tray, everyone had to assume they were tools for torture. When it was revealed to be sandwich fixings, a side of me smiled. Then, that Whisperer devoured the open-faced PB&J as if he had never seen any food before in his life…and spit it back in Carol’s face.
The “good parents” talk. If you ever want to make fans of The Walking Dead nervous, a great way to do that is by giving characters more screen time that have not been getting much of it, especially if they talk about how much they love or need something in their lives. Now I’m worried even more about Rosita and Siddiq.
His daughter’s drawings. It was adorable to see Gracie’s adopted father have so much pride in her. While not on camera much at all, it’s important to establish these characters with close ties to the survivors and use them to allow growth for those who are important to the storytelling of the show.
Oh, I can so just sit here and cry. Seeing Gamma’s world crumble around her is hard. She essentially killed her own sister for Alpha, and then to see that she has been lied to and manipulated has to tear her apart, especially after the talk she had with Aaron. What she will do next has to be seen, but it won’t likely be good for anyone involved.
