What better way to kick start the second half of The Walking Dead season 10 than with the showrunner herself, Angela Kang, taking over Instagram.

Angela Kang will be taking over The Walking Dead official Instagram account on Sunday, February 23, ahead of the show’s mid-season premiere at 9pm. Instagram takeovers by the cast and crew have become a popular way to share inside looks at the episodes as well as to post fun behind the scenes photos and memories.

The Walking Dead is heading into major territory in the back half of season 10 as the Whisperer War heats up. Alpha threw down the gauntlet when she trapped several members of the group in a cave, and that’s where fans will start out in episode 1009, “Squeeze.”

Fans of the show are in for a treat during Kang’s takeover. After all, the showrunner is sure to have the best of the best behind the scenes photos in addition to keen insight not only about the mid-season premiere but the rest of the season itself. And she might even hint at what’s to come later on. You never really know, and that’s what makes her takeover so exciting.

Instagram takeovers have become quite popular in season 10. The official AMC The Walking Dead account has featured a different cast member or member of the crew each week, and this is a great opportunity for fans to interact directly with members of the cast and crew while enjoying never before released photos.

The cast and crew of Fear the Walking Dead also enjoy Instagram takeovers when the show is airing, and so there is every reason to believe that the same thing will happen with The Walking Dead: World Beyond cast when the show premieres on April 12.
