Friday Night In with the Morgans guests for May 1, 2020
The May 1 episode of Friday Night In with the Morgans features an epic crossover between The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan and his wife Hilarie Burton Morgan welcome fans back to Mischief Farm on Friday, May 1, with the next episode of Friday Night In with the Morgans. This week’s episode features a very special crossover as the world of The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead collide.
The guests for the May 1 episode of Friday Night In include Fear the Walking Dead star Colman Domingo, filmmaking couple Mark Duplass and Katie Aselton, and family friend Kate Kortbus.
Though Morgan and Domingo’s characters both live in the same undead universe, opportunities to see them together are few and far between. The Fear the Walking Dead cast usually appears in the panel right before The Walking Dead’s panel at San Diego Comic Con, so they might bump into each other backstage, but there really aren’t many times when the cast is on stage together.
Until now.
Fans have long wanted to see Domingo’s Strand interact with characters from The Walking Dead, and having him as a guest on Friday Night In is a step in the right direction. While AMC might not be able to find a way to bring Negan and Strand together, having the actors who bring them to life is just as much fun.
Also joining in the fun are Mark Duplass and Katie Aselton. Duplass is a filmmaker who has worked on The Morning Show, The Mindy Project and Room 104. Katie Aselton is an actress, director and producer and she worked together with her husband on The League, among her numerous other projects.

Rounding out the crew is Rhinebeck local Kate Kortbus, a family friend who has been helping Hilarie Burton Morgan with her mission to support healthcare workers in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Friday Night In with the Morgans airs Friday nights at 10pm ET on AMC.
