Here is your complete guide to The Walking Dead: World Beyond panel

Comic-Con at Home will be an opportunity for the TWD Family to learn more about The Walking Dead: World Beyond, the newest show in The Walking Dead Universe. The show was previously scheduled to premiere during WonderCon in April, but now the timeline has shifted and it won’t debut until the fall. That means Comic-Con at Home is a chance to learn more about the show and the cast.

When

The World Beyond panel will take place on Friday, July 24 at 2pm PT.

How To Watch

You can get ready for the World Beyond panel now by subscribing to the Comic-Con YouTube channel, where you can set notifications that will alert you when the panel goes live.

You can also access links to individual panels via the Comic-Con International website.

Who Will Be There

According to AMC, the cast members expected to participate in the virtual panel include: Aliyah Royale, Alxa Mansour, Hal Cumpston, Nico Tortorella, Julia Ormond and Joe Holt.

Showrunner Matt Negrete will be in attendance along with Scott M. Gimple, and Talking Dead’s Chris Hardwick as the moderator.

What To Expect

Fans had a chance to meet the cast of World Beyond during New York Comic-Con in 2019. The show was supposed to debut in April following the season finale of The Walking Dead, but now the premiere is scheduled for the fall.

During the Comic-Con at Home panel, fans will hopefully learn exactly when the show will premiere. We can safely assume that it will follow directly after the first half of Fear the Walking Dead season 6 ends, and it will possibly debut on the same day as The Walking Dead season 10 finale. (It’s more likely that Fear TWD will end, 1016 will air and then World Beyond will debut)

Since fans don’t know much about these new characters, it’s safe to assume that the cast will answer questions from fans and a new trailer will probably launch as well.

Possible Surprises

The original plan had been for World Beyond to screen the pilot episode during WonderCon in April, a few days ahead of its original release date. While the possibility of another trailer or a teaser can be expected, it’s also possible that AMC might release the first few minutes of the pilot episode.

Given the amount of time until World Beyond airs in the fall, it is not likely that AMC will release the pilot episode so soon, but additional footage and an extended look at the opening minutes could be possible.
