10 one-shot comics from The Walking Dead that fans would like to see

2. Jesus from the comic and video game
Jesus is one of the very special characters that make an appearance in both The Walking Dead video game and the comics! He is a huge fan-favorite and rightfully so. Jesus is a true warrior with fierce loyalty, insane fighting skills, and a heart of gold. He is an LGBTQIA+ icon, that has inspired many.
Jesus in the comic universe got a ton of storylines and focus, but in the last issue, he too only got a small picture showing him and Aaron still happily together. This character is larger than life and could produce a one-shot comic that would sell out just as easily was Negan Lives did.
While there are many places on the time-line that a story about Jesus would make sense, there is one place that would link the video game and comics in such a way that the fans would be jumping to the sky with excitement leaving them with their minds totally blown. That is between the end of All Out War and A New Beginning and partially during his time on the video game.
The fact that Jesus can navigate so well between the areas in the comics and the areas in the video game means this world is smaller than we think. In the video game, we don’t get any elaboration on who his friends in Richmond are and why he cares so much about them. A one-shot all about this would make the gap between the comics and game that much smaller.
Lastly, seeing Jesus and Clementine interact again would bring smiles to so many fans. Jesus deserves this one-shot. What other characters could manage to be so legendary that they could easily travel and help win someone else’s war and top it all off by flirting with a cute guy and being home to the comics before kicking some whisperer tail? Nobody!
