6. Magna and Yumiko

Magna and Yumiko from The Walking Dead comic series are an incredible power couple. These two go through thick and thin together and in the end, they come out on top. Their journey in the comics starts at issue 127 and runs through 193 where it appears they happily grow old together. They have a single photo together in the last comic and it is them sitting on a bench together feeding birds.

While it’s so heart-warming to know this iconic lesbian duo made it to the end together, it left fans wanting more. One small photo together after everything they had been through just isn’t enough. Since they entered later in the comics than some of our other main characters we could get a one-shot with many different story potentials.

Towards the end of the run, Magna was the de-facto leader of Alexandria! With what happens to Rick, Michonne, and many others did she get to stay leader? Between issues 192 and 193 what happens with the communities and do they integrate into the Commonwealth. If so, a comic detailing how this couple handles these choices would be amazing.

Since they didn’t show up until issue 127, anything within the time frame before that is fair game as well. In the comics, it is revealed that Magna’s dad was homophobic, so coming out to the group now is hard despite the fact nobody would judge her. A one-shot detailing how Magna and Yumiko got together even would be welcomed warmly by fans of this couple.

Even a one-shot comic after 193 about this couple would be welcomed by fans. Going in-depth on what their relationship is like currently after having been together so long, and what their jobs are now after so many years. Only one thing is for certain, fans want more of them!
