3. Christa from the video game

Fans first met Christa in season 1 episode 3 of The Walking Dead video game, she is heavily pregnant and traveling with her boyfriend Omid. Depending on how you treat them they can both be fiercely loyal, and awesome assets. Christa and Omid are very refreshing at this point in the story as Omid has a bright jovial personality and together they give you some laughs.

After the depressing ending of season 1, things go even farther south in the first episode of season two. Clementine is found by Christa and Omid after the finale of season one and are together for a small period of time. Unfortunately because of a sad accident, Omid doesn’t make it out of this episode alive.

The episode then has a 16 month time hop, when Christa and Clementine are shown, Christa is no longer pregnant and there is no baby in sight. No information is given about the birth at all, leaving fans to wonder what happened. What makes matters worse is that while out getting supplies Christa gets ambushed by a group of people and separated from Clementine.

This is the end of Christa’s story, we never get any more information about her or her baby. Her status is unknown in the universe. Many fans on social media still talk about Christa to this day even though it’s been many years since all of this happened. While it does make sense for some characters to disappear, as it mirrors real life, Christa’s story is a touchy one within the fandom.

Even if Christa herself never gets a proper ending, there is hope maybe we can learn about the fate of her baby. If we get a continuation of Clementine’s story she could talk about Christa to someone and talk about what happened to the pregnancy. Either way, fans need closure.
