4) Tension between Carol and Daryl

It’s no secret that Daryl and Carol aren’t very happy with one another going into the season finale. Carol has taken tons of risks to get vengeance against Alpha for the death of her son Henry, and that has put a huge strain on her relationship with Daryl. In the panel, Melissa McBride hilariously described the state of their relationship at the moment with a groan that has thrown fans into a frenzy.

We know that these two legendary characters were not on the best of terms right now, but are things worse than we first thought? Does something happen in the season 10 finale that actually worsens Daryl and Carol’s relationship? Intentional or not, both Melissa McBride and Norman Reedus’ dim responses to questions about the Daryl and Carol relationship going into season 11 has left the stakes feeling even higher for episode 1016.

Will Carol help make amends for her mistake in the cave and throughout season 10? Or will the finale feature another instance of Carol going rogue at the expense of the group? Fans may have to wait until October 4, but clearly the actors and writers know something that we don’t.
