Fall Guys reaches out to Norman Reedus to voice video game character

Norman Reedus is no stranger to voice acting, so why not be Yeetus?

As one of the most popular characters on AMC’s The Walking Dead, Daryl Dixon has captured the heart of fans all around the world. Norman Reedus, the actor who plays Daryl, has been in many movies and even ventured into doing voice acting for video games.

He lent his voice to the main character in Death Stranding, a high-concept PS4 release by Metal Gear‘s Hideo Kojima. However, his voice acting in video games might not be done just yet as he has received an offer from a popular game.

Fall Guys has taken gaming by storm. A simple game with a premise like the cult classic television shows MXC or Takeshi’s Castle, Fall Guys pits 60 beans up against each other as they perform challenges to prove who will reign supreme. Even The Walking Dead alum Chandler Riggs has been playing it.

Some of those challenges involve swinging hammers. The idea for the character voiced by Reedus would be a gigantic hammer that slams down on beans. This bean would be named Yeetus, because it would “yeet” players who got slammed.

At the time of this writing, Reedus has not responded to the tweet asking him to voice Yeetus. However, that could be something to keep an eye on because it would not only be a ton of fun but any time that anyone from The Walking Dead can get involved in projects outside the zombie apocalypse is welcome.

The entire Twitter post from Fall Guys is fun to read, with many people offering to voice the character of Yeetus and the game’s account responding in hilarious fashion, Hopefully Fall Guys will be able to get a “YEET” out of Reedus for the gigantic hammer in the future.
