Submit your questions and Robert Kirkman might answer them during NYCC

New York Comic Con is going virtual in 2020 like so many other pop culture conventions, and Robert Kirkman and Skybound will be there to answer questions about popular titles and talk about upcoming projects. NYCC runs October 8-11 and will take place on the NYCC YouTube channel, making it accessible to everyone.

Kirkman has been keeping busy during the pandemic with the release of the one-shot Negan Lives #1, designed to give local comic shop retailers an opportunity to recover some of their losses after being shut down for weeks and months. Shops were given the copies with the intention of keeping the proceeds of the sale in house. The issue became so popular that special foil editions started selling out like wildfire.

Speaking of fire, Kirkman’s new comic Fire Power with co-creator Chris Samnee launched in August and has been flying off the shelves along with another popular new Skybound title, Stillwater.

Fans can send questions to the Skybound social media account and Kirkman might answer them during the panel. From the look of things, he’s taking any and all questions, so get those burning questions ready!

As we learned during San Diego Comic-Con in July, virtual pop culture conventions can be very successful, with fan interaction taking place before the event begins with questions submitted in advance.

You lose out on the thrill of the moment, but having questions in advance allows the panel to be much more organized and easier to follow. Without the pauses for applause, laughter and lengthy introductions, there is more time to listen to the panelists, and it’s honestly a better convention experience even though you’re taking part from the comfort of your couch.
