By Sara Large
The Walking Dead: World Beyond premiere gave fans amazing new characters
The Walking Dead: World Beyond started off the series with a massive bang. There was amazing character development, stunning story, plot twists, big reveals, and even tear-jerking moments! Viewers got to see from the point of view of many characters and gain insight into what life is like for the survivors in the campus colony.
During this episode, one character shined brightly among all the new fresh faces. Fans got to see where this person was on monument day and the events that shaped them into the person they are today. Viewers saw what their current bonds are like and how they respond to others, and couldn’t help but cheer them on.
This week’s MVP is Hope
Hope has the honor of wearing the first-ever MVP crown for The Walking Dead: World Beyond and she definitely deserves it. Fans got a glimpse into her past, and it was far beyond tragic. It has turned her into the person she is today and that is brave, strong, independent, and not afraid to speak her mind.
The reason she gets the MVP crown first is that her intuition was right. She didn’t trust Elizabeth and CRM and wasn’t afraid to make it known from the start. She supported her sister and when the time was right she jumped on the mission to find their father. She might be angsty but there is a strong reason behind it and fans support it.
Even when Hope isn’t meaning too, she indirectly influences the story in a positive way. By making alcohol and getting caught, she gets an inebriated Elizabeth to give up the only clue about where her father is. Let all fans raise a glass to Hope, a smart character with a future character arc that shines brighter than the sun!
