Check out the trailer for Clarice, starring The Walking Dead’s Michael Cudlitz.

Michael Cudlitz played the colorful Abraham Ford on The Walking Dead until his violent death at the hands of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) with his weapon of choice, Lucille. Fans of Abe’s were shocked and saddened at the loss of this beloved character. Cudlitz has been a busy man since he left TWD and now he will be starring in a follow-up series to The Silence of the Lambs movie entitled Clarice.

Deadline reported that CBS just released the trailer for the series and after watching, it is good to see that we get the same feel as the original film. FBI Agent Clarice Starling will be played by Rebecca Breeds (Pretty Little Liars) and she does an outstanding job of picking up where Jody Foster left off, even down to the voice.

Cudlitz will play Paul Krendler, who is the leader of the VICAP Fly Team. If you are a fan of the sequel film Hannibal, you will most likely remember the scene between Hannibal Lecter and Krendler. It didn’t end well for Krendler.

If there is any confusion about the timeline of the films and this series, we will break it down here:

  • Manhunter (1986)
  • The Silence of the Lambs (1991)
  • Hannibal (2001)
  • Red Dragon (2002)
  • Hannibal Rising (2007)

This series will take place mere months after The Silence of the Lamb film, right after Agent Starling killed the serial killer, Buffalo Bill.

Cudlitz shared his excitement for the release of the series via Twitter.

Since he departed from the TWD series as Abraham, Cudlitz has been directing in TWD Universe. He has directed many episodes of TWD and the spin-off series World Beyond.

He also appeared on ABCs family comedy The Kids Are Alright, which sadly only had one season.  Other upcoming projects he is involved in are Red Stone, Manifest West and the animated Invincible series.

Cudlitiz is also involved in The Red Phone Booth, a prohibition experience with locations in Atlanta, GA and Nashville, TN.  This is a modern-day speakeasy. You gain access via a red phone booth, with an access code that only members are privy to.  And this is no casual experience; there is even a strict dress code that you can find on the website. It sounds like a lot of fun.

Be sure to watch Clarice on February 11 on CBS to catch Cudlitz in action one again.

Next. Penguin Bloom, starring Andrew Lincoln coming to Netflix on January 27. dark

The Walking Dead will be on AMC starting February 28, when season ten bonus episodes will begin to air.  Don’t miss it!
