The Walking dead reveals photo with Maggie and newcomers

With the premiere of the first episode of The Walking Dead season 10c less than a  month away, AMC gives us amazing new photos and new promos.

These photos and clips are giving us a glimpse into what we can expect in this bonus season.

One of the new photos shows what looks like a determined Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Kelly (Angel Theory) and newcomers Elijah (Okea Eme-Akwari) and Comicbook.com is reporting that the bearded man is Cole (James Devoti).

This photo is from the first episode, “Home Sweet Home,” where the group, along with Daryl (Norman Reedus), fight an unseen and unknown threat.

How much will be revealed about where Maggie has been in The Walking Dead?

This photo shows someone in camouflage directly behind Maggie. Could this be the unseen threat? This is not the same scene as the most recent photo, so perhaps she has encountered this threat during her time away.

Showrunner Angela Kang told Deadline that now that Maggie has returned, we will find out more about her time away. This storyline will also introduce us to new characters who will go on into season eleven.

Fans are very curious to find out where Maggie has been and what has transpired since her departure with her son Hershel. They left Hilltop sometime during the six-year time jump. The only information we were given regarding her departure is in a letter that Jesus (Tom Payne) reads, informing him that she is doing well. We also hear Siddiq (Avi Nash) tell Michoone (Danai Gurira) that Maggie left with Georgie (Jayne Atkinson) to help out in another community.

In this clip below, we see Maggie, Daryl, Kelly, Elijah and Cole on some sort of mission.

It is always exciting to be introduced to new characters. It will be great to find out how Maggie met her masked companion Elijah and why he wears that kickass mask!

AMC+ subscribers will be able to stream “Home Sweet Home” a week early on February 21. This episode will premiere on AMC on February 28.
