New teaser for The Walking Dead 10c showcases the power of Princess

In The Walking Dead comic series, Princess is a very strong-willed character with no filter. She never hesitates to say what is on her mind or to put someone in their place. Princess easily lays out several Commonwealth guards with her spear, and it is only their leader Mercer who can disarm her. She makes it clear from the start she is a fierce warrior, yet the latest teasers from AMC are showing a much different picture.

In the latest teaser, fans get a look into what the fantastic four are having to deal with, and it’s certainly different than what comic fans had pictured. The Commonwealth guards are being teased as quite brutal people. They are seen hitting Yumiko and tossing Princess around like a ragdoll. It’s even shown in one shot that Princess has blood all over her face. Naturally, fans of this firecracker are worried she might lose her comic finesse.

However, new footage in the latest teaser titled The Way We Used to Be gives fans hope. Within all of the crumbs AMC is handing out, fans can piece together that Princess will, in fact, put up a fight against the guards. The latest teaser shows King Ezekiel saying, “We need a plan. We can’t trust these people.” He is talking to Princess as the frame’s corner shows purple hair and the classic pink jacket.

As the next small clip appears, viewers can see a bloodied Princess running next to the train cars with her gun. This is after the initial scuffle since she is injured. During the 10c minute-long trailer, there is a moment where Princess is seen looking down at King Ezekiel, Yumiko and Eugene from a train car with their heads covered. Combining these moments certainly gives the idea she does fight to get them free, but she is stopped, which potentially gets them all in trouble.

Princess has the heart of a warrior, and she will do anything to free her new friends.

With The Walking Dead going into its last season and Princess only just arriving, there is a fair chance the episode with her will serve as a showcase for her and Commonwealth. Since these additional 6 episodes are to expand upon events around the faux finale, and season 11 will be bringing everything to a big finale, this episode is the time to let Princess truly shine.

It also appears another comic character could be making his debut in this episode as well, and that is Lance. He is the person who initially questions the group in the comic, much like the first voice in the 10c trailer. Either way, Princess is certainly going to give fans a good show and make them fall in love with her even more. She is among the best of the best, and this will be the time to show fans all her unique potential going forward!
