Ride with Norman Reedus gets a release date for the new season

Norman Reedus is an extremely busy man. He is currently filming the final season of The Walking Dead; his production company BBHFilms is involved in multiple projects, not to mention raising a toddler with his partner Diane Kruger and now his motorcycle travel series Ride with Norman Reedus will return to AMC on March 7.
Filming for the fifth season was cut short due to the pandemic. The series follows Reedus and his celebrity guests to a destination where they ride their bikes and sample the local culture. The series gives an amazing look at many areas around the globe and the people who live there.
Season five will feature Josh Brolin and Dylan McDermott as celebrity guests for the first two episodes. Both were filmed in New Zealand before the pandemic shut everything down. There were plans to film in Croatia and Italy but sadly, those episodes weren’t able to be filmed. The remaining four season five episodes will be more of a “best of” from the previous seasons.
Reedus told Deadline in October 2020 that once the Walking Dead’s final season is filmed, he will get back to filming more episodes of Ride. Be sure to check out this awesome promo clip for the series.
What other celebrity guests have been featured on Ride with Norman Reedus?
In season four, Reedus was joined by fellow TWD actors Michael Rooker and Ryan Hurst. Rooker and Reedus took a trip to Birmingham, Alabama, then on to Atlanta, Georgia, and up in Senoia for special Walking Dead reunion. As fans of the TWD, this scene is one of the best of the Ride series.
Ryan Hurst and Milo Ventimiglia tour different areas of Japan. Hurst and Reedus explore modern Japan and eventually end up at Mt. Fuji. Reedus then takes Ventimiglia from Kyoto to Osaka, taking a look at the cultural traditions.
Fans of Reedus know that his favorite vacation destination is Costa Rica, so it’s no surprise he filmed there. He took his friend Dom Rocket into the jungles of Costa Rica, doing some extreme riding.
Becky Goebel, a biker babe, and journalist traveled with Reedus to Uruguay, where they biked with the locals and experienced the easygoing lifestyle.
Clifton Collins Jr. went with Reedus on a journey through Kentucky. Their ride took them from Louisville to the Red River Gorge.
