The Walking Dead: Carol’s special necklace will touch your heart

The Walking Dead has so many emotional moments that will tug at the heartstrings of even the strongest Walking Dead Fan. Whether it is an unexpected death, a tender memory of a character who has been killed, or any number of other elements, it can bring a viewer to tears.

Ready for another one? Many have known about this, and maybe I knew this and forgot? Or like other fans just had no clue.

Melissa McBride shared on an episode of Talking Dead that the necklace Carol wears with the little pink bead is actually part of one of Sophia’s (Madison Lintz)  elastic hair ties. How precious is that?

I was today years old when I found this out. Below is the precious Tweet McBride shared in 2013 that featured a note from Lintz and the hair tie. Today on Twitter, Sarah! posted a Twitter thread about this adorable moment which brought this fun bit of info to my attention.

Carol Peletier has grown so much since season one; what does the future hold for her?

Carol has come a long way from being her husband Ed’s (Adam Minarovich) doormat. Ed’s death was the first step in Carol’s rise to greatness.

Over the duration of the series, Carol has overcome more than anyone. She has lost four children, five if you count  Sam. She’s been kicked out of the main group by Rick. Saved countless people’s lives by her acts of bravery. Stepped up do what needed to be done when others wouldn’t.

Now, she finds herself in a difficult spot. She negotiated with Negan, everyone’s enemy, to take down Alpha and her Whisperers. The mission was successful, but not without the loss of many lives and the loss of Hilltop.

With Maggie’s return, Carol is harboring some guilt. Watch the two-minute sneak peek to see how she handles this.

There is also a wedge between her and Daryl. This wedge has been put into place by both of their actions. No matter what happens between the two of them in the future, the longevity of their and the strength of their relationship will see them through.

In season 10c, there will be two episodes that focus on Daryl and Carol that will shed light on how things are between the two of them.
