Fans of The Walking Dead were delighted to have the series back on the air. Sunday night, AMC aired the first of the six bonus episodes, and social media was alive with comments, gifs and memes.

I had an amazing time live-tweeting with fans, and everyone was so engaging. One fan stated it so simple, but I think members of TWDFamily can agree.

Live tweeting the show brings the TWDFamily closer, and it is always enlightening as someone might see something you missed. Or share an opinion that will set off a discussion about the series that really gets people thinking. Of course, you always have the trolls, but we ignore them.

Let’s recap some amazing fan, cast and crew reactions.

Haley Leary is a newcomer to TWD, and she joined in the fun with her own post. (yes, she is the actress in this scene). Her character’s name was Ainsley, a part of Maggie’s new group, but sadly, she was killed by the Reaper.

Kevin Deiboldt co-wrote “Home Sweet Home” with Corey Reed and thanked everyone via Twitter. He even posted a page of the script from, what I think, was the best scene of the episode. And, the song that was playing just made it even more amazing.

The proud grandpa couldn’t resist posting an adorable photo of his grandson’s first appearance.

Many viewers asked this question when it was suggested the group split off to follow the two trails!

Who didn’t want to hug Kelly when this happened. That poor sweet girl just wants to find her beloved sister.

TWDFamily collectively had the same emotion during this conversation about the members of Maggie’s family that are no longer with us.

No one was safe from all the feels they got when little Hershel looked so adorable sitting there looking the spit of Glenn with his little ballcap!

Melissa McBride shared some fun BTS photos on her Twitter page.

Norman Reedus couldn’t hold in his excitement about the episode and broke out into song.

Join me again this Sunday for live-tweeting of “Find Me” via the Undead Walking twitter page.
