The Walking Dead Mays

Mays, Twin Brother Mays, his wife and daughter.

Played by: Robert Patrick
Introduced: Episode 1019 “One More”
Died: Episode 1019 “One More”
Killed by: Mays – Father Gabriel, Twin Brother Mays – self

“One More” was a great episode that focused on two characters who deserved some screen time. Father Gabriel and Aaron were on a supply run when they came upon a warehouse that wasn’t marked on the map that Maggie gave them. They were searching for food for the residents of Alexandria with the aid of a map Maggie and her new group made.

They thought they were alone in the warehouse and decided to camp there for the night. When a wild boar spooked Aaron, he promptly killed it. Then they decided to cook part of the boar and eat it with some whiskey that Gabriel found. They end up getting drunk and having a good time together.

In the morning, in addition to a hangover, Father Gabriel finds Aaron missing. Then he is stalked by a cloaked man who he finds out has Aaron locked in a room. This man, Mays, forces the two to play a game of Russian Roulette, believing that one of them will shoot the other proving his point that people are no longer good. Of course, Gabriel and Aaron beat Mays at his game by not shooting the other.

Mays explains about killing his brother, and this is what prompts Gabriel to kill him with Aaron’s mace arm. He tells Aaron they couldn’t welcome someone like him into their community.

They are then lead to wonder where Mays was hiding out because they didn’t see living quarters in the warehouse. They locate an upstairs room and find that Mays didn’t kill his brother but forced him to play Russian Roulette with his wife and daughter and was still alive chained to the wall. When they free him, he grabs a gun and shoots himself.
