Fear The Walking Dead, Mother: Things To Note

IT’S THAT TIME AGAIN!

In a season of Fear The Walking Dead that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed, this might be my favorite episode so far (And not just because it confirmed two of my theories, completing a grand slam of Beginner-related theories). I loved getting a glimpse of Teddy’s life when the outbreak hit (Always something I get a kick out of), I loved seeing familiar faces return, and I loved not only the fact that the episode was filled with swerves but that the swerves were done well. Unlike some of the more infamous fake-outs we’ve seen in years past, this episode’s use of swerves were all well-paced, and all did their job well, exactly like they’re supposed to.

Last week’s Fear The Walking Dead was loaded with twists, but what about all the things you might have missed? I got them in this week’s Things To Note!

First, we had Cole’s return, something I definitely didn’t see coming (I counted him, Doug, and Viv as dead, so, yeah, quite surprised there), then, Cole proving to have turned heel, Teddy revealing his whole reason for his little road trip with Alicia was a ruse, Dakota turning on Alicia, and finally, the last thing Teddy said to Alicia, leaving me with a different impression of him than the one I had when the episode started.

And then, there were the little things, the things that even I had to take a step back and rewatch to make sure I heard them right. For example, did you hear Dakota subtly admit to killing even more people than we know of? Or the fact that we may have seen other survivors from the prison besides Teddy? These are just some of the details, hints, clues, references, and trivia that I picked up in last week’s episode that I believed warranted inclusion for all of you!
