Norman Reedus and Diane Kruger celebrate 5 years together

Norman Reedus has played Daryl Dixon on The Walking Dead since season one and has been a fan favorite since introducing the character. In 2015, while filming the movie Sky, he met Diane Kruger, known for her Inglourious Basterds and the National Treasure movies. About a year later, the pair were seen in public stepping out as a couple.

Yesterday, Kruger and Reedus each posted on the IG that they are celebrating 5 years together. Her photo shows the couple on a beach, possibly in Costa Rica, as that is a favorite vacation destination for the pair. Reedus choose a great photo of them in character as Deigo and Romy on the set of Sky, the film where they met.

They recently put their Los Angeles “Castle” on the market for $9.25 million. The couple purchased the home just ahead of the lockdown for the pandemic. The photos show an amazing property with 7,700 sq feet and a half-acre lot, whose slate roof, terraces, and dormer windows give it a castle-like appearance. There has been no public announcement as to where the couple will reside next.

Kruger recently attended a dinner in Maison Chaumet in Paris, where she served as the guest of honor. She is the cover girl for Rendez-Vous magazine’s current issue, the jeweler’s publication featuring their latest collection.

Reedus is currently filming the final season for the long-running series, The Walking Dead. The season will premier on AMC on August 22. The final season will consist of 24 episodes, released in three parts. Filming for the season won’t be complete until March 2022. Reedus and his co-star Melissa McBride will reprise their roles of Daryl Dixon and Carol Peletier in their own spin-off series that Angela Kang will be the showrunner and is expected sometime in 2023.

The couple has a young daughter together and often feature adorable photos of her on their IG pages. Recently Reedus posted a photo where he was assembling a small pink motorized bike for her. Reedus has a son Mingus, who has followed in his father and mother, Helena Christensen’s footsteps to become a model.

You will be able to see Reedus back in action as Daryl on August 22 on AMC. He also has his motorcycle travel series Ride With Norman Reedus, which released its 5th season earlier this year. There has been no news of renewal for a 6th season as of yet. He is also busy with his new venture, bigbaldhead productions.

Kruger will star in The 355, an action spy film directed by Simon Kinberg (Mr. & Mrs. Smith) scheduled to release in January 2022. She stars alongside  Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o, Penélope Cruz, Fan Bingbing, Sebastian Stan and Édgar Ramírez. She will also star in First Love, a romance with a poignant look at a young man’s difficult entry into adulthood, which stars Reedus’ fellow Walking Dead castmate Sydney Park.  Another project Kruger will star in is Butterfly in the Typewriter, a dramatic account of  John Kennedy Toole’s time writing A Confederacy of Dunces.
