Fear the Walking Dead season 6 Blu-ray release coming soon

Fear the Walking Dead aired the final episode for the sixth season on June 13. It was a dramatic ending to a powerful season. Fans are now eagerly awaiting any news on a release date for the seventh season.

Until that time, fans will be glad to know that the series has a Blu-ray release date of August 31. You can pre-order on Amazon and lock in the price of $38.99. The cover is a photo of Morgan Jones (Lennie James) with his red eyes. It is an outstanding photo to use. Special features will include audio commentaries.

The sixth season saw a resurgence in viewers. Many who had given up the series previously returned to a much different tone. Virginia (Colby Minifie) and her Pioneers tear Morgan’s group apart, spreading them to different areas. We were also introduced to Teddy Maddox (John Glover), a charismatic cult leader. The season ended with a literal bang that will cause lasting effects to future seasons.

Fear the Walking Dead season 7

The seventh season of Fear the Walking Dead announcement, a brief clip in a promo video, stated it would be coming in the fall of 2021. If we follow The Walking Dead schedule, which will premiere season 11A on August 22, the final episode airs on October 10. That could mean Fear TWD would start the following Sunday, October 17. This could also mean that Fear TWD and The Walking Dead: World Beyond may air on the same Sundays.

What is in store for the seventh season of Fear the Walking Dead?

The main concern will be fallout from the nuclear bomb explosions. Many have speculated that there will be a time jump so that a reasonable amount of time would have gone by after the explosions. Or, will we see the survivors try to live in that aftermath? Perhaps they will have to relocate.

The past season has put the whole group through the ringer. The group has experienced heavy losses, emotional turmoil, and then a nuclear blast. It will be an exciting season, no matter which direction the story takes.

Fear the Walking Dead will return to AMC in the fall of 2021.

July 24, cast members from Fear TWD will be featured in a panel at SDCC with a first look at season seven. Schedule to appear:  Lennie James, Alycia Debnam- Carey, Colman Domingo, Danay Garcia, Jenna Elfman, Karen David, Mo Collins and Christine Evangelista.
