The Walking Dead: Origins mini-series has now released all four episodes of the limited series. Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) was the final story of this series. The episodes focused on one character and the iconic events for the character throughout The Walking Dead series. The narration was provided by the actor who portrayed the character giving it a more personal touch.

This week we look back at Carol and all the events that gave her growth and strength to endure all the pain and suffering she has had in her life. When we first met her, she was under the rule of her abusive husband Ed (Adam Minarovich) and very timid and closed off. Fast forward to season 11, and the Carol we know now is a badass who isn’t afraid to do what needs to be done, even if that means going against what everyone else says.

We have seen her do many questionable things that have resulted in positive outcomes. You can’t fault her for doing what needs to be done. This world isn’t made for wimps and Carol knows this.

The Walking Dead season 11 Carol Peletier

As the final season of The Walking Dead looms near, we are all wondering what the story will hold for our favorite characters. We know that Carol and Daryl will somehow head off into the sunset to pursue their own paths in their new spin-off series. There hasn’t been much information released for this series except Norman Reedus’ comments about it looking nothing like the flagship series.

This week’s sneak peek shows Carol in a precarious situation. This looks to be the military base that has been mentioned in the synopsis for the first episodes of season 11. Food is a dire need in Alexandria due to the influx of residents. The missions we are seeing teased in the trailer and teasers are food supply runs as they try to find enough to feed everyone.

This mission looks to be a success, at least the part we are able to view now. We will know more in a few short weeks.
