Norman Reedus and Helena Christensen son follows in parents footsteps

Helena Christensen posted photos of her son, Mingus Reedus, who is featured on this month’s cover of Vogue Hommes. Reedus, the son of The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus, is a handsome young man who looks the spit of his mother. He gets his modeling gene’s from his mother and his father.

Christensen was crowned Miss Universe Denmark in 1986 at 17 years of age. Soon after she would head to Paris to begin her modeling career. She was wildly popular in the 90s especially after her appearance in the sexy video for Chris Isaak’s song “Wicked Games.” After that, it seemed she was featured in every magazine for every designer of the 90s. She was also one of the original Angels for Victoria’s Secret.

She co-founded Nylon magazine, is an avid photographer, has partnered with Oxfam and raises funds for breast cancer organizations and other charities.

Norman Reedus modeling over the years

Norman Reedus has modeled for many big names like Prada, Alessandro Dell’Acqua, Durban, Levi’s, Lexus, and Morgenthal Fredrics. He worked with Cruelty Free International in a campaign in support of ending cosmetic testing on animals.

Reedus and Christensen are obviously very proud of their son and his accomplishments at the age of 21. Luckily the parents have been able to keep a wonderful friendship and raise their son. You can see evidence of this in their social media post of the three of them celebrating milestones like his high school graduation.

Earlier this year the mother and son posed in Victoria’s Secret new Mother’s Day campaign. In 2017 Mingus received his first modeling job on Calvin Klein’s runway and then on to Tommy Hilfiger’s London Fashion Week show.
