By Renee Hansen
Fear the Walking Dead’s Colman Domingo is everywhere. The man is on fire with all of the projects he has been involved in. Deadline has announced that Domingo will play gay rights activist Bayard Rustin in the new film Rustin.
This film will mark Michelle and Barack Obama Higher Ground’s first film production. Domingo will join Chris Rock, Glynn Turman and Audra McDonald in this film directed by George C. Wolfe, who co-wrote with Dustin Lance Black (Milk).
Domingo shared the news on his Instagram page, expressing how honored he is to portray a personal hero.
Rustin was instrumental in altering American history when he organized the 1963 March on Washington, where Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his “I Have A Dream” speech. He was vital in the early civil rights movement and led several other marches and freedom rides.

Fear the Walking Dead season seven premiere
Domingo plays Victor Strand in AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead, a spin-off of The Walking Dead. The season seven premiere will air on AMC on October 17.
Strand has decided to do things his way for the upcoming season. After surviving a nuclear bomb, he feels invincible and that his way of living is the only way to go. He’s tried doing things the way others think he should, but in the end, his selfish ways trump taking the high road.
He and Morgan Jones have drawn lines in the sand, and it will be an exciting season as we see who prevails. In season six, Strand tried to kill Morgan in the submarine, and Morgan isn’t happy.
AMC will air the Fear the Walking Dead season seven premiere on October 17.
