Fear the Walking Dead Survival Rule Of The Week

This week’s episode of Fear The Walking Dead focused, primarily, on John Dorie Sr. He was surviving in Teddy Maddox’s underground bunker alongside his daughter-in-law, June. The pair were waiting out the radioactive fallout from the nuclear attack Maddox initiated.

The thing was, June wasn’t the only person spending time with John inside the bunker. He found himself haunted by the ghost of the one victim of Teddy’s murder spree during the 1970s that John had not located, Cindy Hawkins (Brittany Bradford).

We also saw John try to make contact with the outside world. He was hoping to reach someone from Morgan’s group and confirm for himself that he and June weren’t the only survivors after the nuclear apocalypse. While John did contact someone, it turned out it was not one of his friends but the mysterious Stalkers, who were anything but friendly.

All of this got me thinking how, in a zombie apocalypse, we may never truly be alone, even when there’s no one physically with us, and how this can both be for the good and the bad. For this week’s Fear The Walking Dead, Survival Rule Of The Week, I’ve decided to discuss how it’s essential to recognize the value of the people you survive with, the dangers of other people who also happen to be surviving near you, and how dangerous it can be when you’re not alone.
