Austin Amelio The Laundromat Off Malibu

Amelio shared his excitement about a new project he is involved in on Instagram.

The Laundromat Off Malibu is a short psychological thriller directed by Fiona Nova and Pier Paolo Piccoli that stars Amelio and Gig McQuarrie.

In a small Malibu laundromat, things aren’t what they seem. Sarah, the laundromat employee, meets Jason, a customer who is obviously going through some type of trauma. As the story unfolds, you will be shocked to discover his secret.

Next, you can see Amelio in two other shorts, Okay, Sugar and Lovebug, where he co-stars with Fear TWD actor Alycia Debnam-Carey, set to release February 28, 2022.

Another cool project he worked on was the apocalyptic podcast, Aftershock, written by fellow TWD actor Sarah Wayne Callies. Set in Los Angeles in the aftermath of the largest earthquake in the history of the US, an island is formed off the coast of California. The podcast also stars TWD actors, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Tovah Feldshuh, along with  David Harbour, Tati Gabrielle, Janel Parrish, Russell Hornsby, Rockmond Dunbar, Bethany Joy Lenz, Michael O’Neill,  and EJ Bonilla.
