Madison returns to Fear the Walking Dead

Fans of Fear the Walking Dead received good news for fans of Madison Clark. On a recent episode of Talking Dead, Kim Dickens announced that she would be returning to the series as Madison for the second half of season seven.

In the season four finale, Madison made a sacrificial move as the Dell Diamond Baseball Stadium community fell, leading to everyone believing she died. Somehow she managed to escape her death and live a new life somewhere.

Viewers are anxious to see how the writers will bring her back into the storyline and see her and Morgan Jones (Lennie James) interact. She will also reenter the story as her daughter Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) declared war on her friend Victor Strand (Colman Strand).

I posed the question to our Twitter followers, asking why they are big fans of Madison. The answers ranged from die-hard devotion to never caring for her.

Many sighted her leadership abilities and her determination to protect her children at any cost to her. Others just enjoyed the performance by an outstanding actress.

Dickens is known for her roles in Deadwood, 12 Miles of Bad Road, Lost, The Blindside, Friday Night Lights, Treme, Gone Girl, Sons of Anarchy, House of Cards and Briarpatch.

Next, Dickens will star in The Good Nurse, a crime thriller based on a book of the same title by Charles Graeber. She will star with Jessica Chastain, Eddie Redmayne, Nnamdi Asomugha, and fellow Walking Dead universe actor Noah Emmerich (Dr. Jenner – TWD). The story follows one nurse who helps capture another who has killed over 300 patients. The Good Nurse is expected to release in 2022.

During the second half of Fear the Walking Dead’s season seven, Kim Dickens will return as Madison. The series returns to AMC on April 17, 2022.
