The Walking Dead Survival Rule Of The Week: The Friends Who Aren’t
By Liam O'Leary
The Walking Dead season 11
Last week, I tackled how disastrous going to war with your friends would be in a zombie apocalypse. I also asked the question “What if they were never your friend in the first place?” I often wonder about worst-case scenarios, and discovering that a person you thought was a friend was never a friend fits that description quite nicely, I would say.
When you think about the information that you might share with a friend, then think about the possibility of that friend not being a friend at all, you suddenly realize how dangerous of a person they could potentially be. They are privy to vital secrets about how your group operates, important locations within your base, and information about you and the rest of your group that could be destructive in the hands of an enemy.
I decided to dedicate this week’s The Walking Dead, Survival Rule Of The Week to this problem. And focus on the dangers of it, and more importantly, ways to avoid or mitigate it by looking for some telltale signs or behaviors to watch out for in the people who are only pretending to be your friend.
