The Walking Dead season 11 episode 13 Warlords release date
By Renee Hansen
The Walking Dead’s final season is currently airing part 2 of the three parts for the last season of the series. Viewers are learning much more about the Commonwealth and that the outside appearance isn’t exactly what is going on behind the scenes.
The previous episode, “Rogue Element,” again sees about a 30 day time jump, this time with Connie and Kelly investigating ex-Trooper Tyler Davis, Eugene looking for Stephanie, who has gone missing, and Carol aiding Hornsby in a labor dispute.
Connie and Kelly ride along with Mercer, and when it’s time for questions, Connie asks about Tyler Davis and Mercer’s sister Max. Yes, Governor Milton’s assistant is Mercer’s sister. The mystery surrounding Davis gets more interesting as a list of names is slipped under Connie and Kelly’s apartment door, and Davis’ name is on the bottom. Then Mercer discovers that Davis has been removed from the hospital without his knowledge.
Eugene, aided by Princess, investigates the disappearance of Stephine, who he discovers is named Shira and has been playing him all along, under Hornsby’s orders. Although he didn’t catch Hornsby and his group in anything at this time, there is defiantly something going on.
Carol goes with Hornsby to an opium farm where Carol discovers the foreman, Moto, is stealing money from the workers and beating them to keep them quiet.
AMC will air season 11 episode 12, “The Lucky Ones,” on Sunday, March 13 at 9 p.m. ET.
The Walking Dead Warlords
The next episode, “Warlord,” is currently available on AMC+. This episode will air on AMC on Sunday, March 20, at 9 p.m. ET.
This episode was written by Jim Barnes & Erik Mountain and directed by Loren Yaconelli. This marks Yaconelli’s directorial debut for The Walking Dead but has previously directed five episodes of The Walking Dead: World Beyond.
Barnes has written four episodes in season 10 and season 11’s “Acheron: Part I” and
“Acheron: Part II,” both of which he wrote with Angela Kang. Mountain previously collaborated with Barnes to write the season 10 episode “One More” and “From Blood” from season 11, which he wrote independently.
The synopsis for “Warlords” reads: Maggie, Lydia, and Elijah help a stranger from another community called Riverbend. They run into Aaron, who tells them about a mission he embarked on with Gabriel as emissaries for the Commonwealth.
