It is the weekend and time for our recap of The Walking Dead universe news this week.

AMC will air the next episode of The Walking Dead, “Warlords,” on Sunday, March 20 at 9 p.m. ET. This episode was written by  Jim Barnes & Erik Mountain and directed by Loren Yaconelli, which marks her directorial debut for The Walking Dead series.

This episode will introduce a new community, Riverbend, in which the Commonwealth sends Aaron and Gabriel to make first contact with his group. The teaser shows what appears to be a menacing-looking group. Are their friends or foes?

There are many new characters introduced in this episode.

  • Fear the Walking Dead’s spinoff finally has a release date!
  • Actor Norman Reedus suffered a concussion that halted filming for the final episode. He was also forced to bow out of his Fandamic Tour appearance. Reports have stated he is doing well and will return to work soon.
  • Many of our TWD Family cast members are at Fandemic Tour this weekend.
  • AMC has partnered with Gala Games for VOX NFTs.

  • Norman Reedus stars in Orville Peck’s new music video “The Curse of the Blacked Eye.”
  • Walking Dead actor Kyle Gallner to star in new film The Passenger, which is a collaboration between Blumhouse Television and Epix.
  • The Walking Dead episode “The Grove” aired eight years ago this past week.
  • Talking Dead returns this week, right after AMCs airing of “Warlords.” Special guests this week include Father Gabriel actor Seth Gilliam,  actor, writer and producer Diallo Riddle, and another special surprise guest.
