The Walking Dead’s upcoming episode “Trust” will air on AMC on Sunday, April 3 at 9 p.m. ET. This episode will be followed by an episode of Talking Dead that will feature special guests Ian Anthony Dale, Paola Lazaro and Emily Kinney.
The synopsis for this episode tells us that we have now reached the six-month time jump with Daryl, Commonwealth troops, and Lance Hornsby at the gates of Hilltop. Rosita, Eugene, Kelly, Connie and Max will also be doing some investigating into the Miltons. And Ezekiel will be aiding some patients at the hospital.
Things are getting very exciting as we head to the season 11B finale, “Acts of God,” which will air on April 10.

The teaser video for “Trust” sees things in the aftermath of the Riverbend battle. Hornsby, accompanied by Daryl and many troopers, arrives to find Aaron and Gabriel alive but all of the other Commonwealth people dead. He finds this curious.
At the gates of Hilltop, Maggie asks Daryl if she is expected to trust Hornsby and Daryl responds, “I’m asking you to trust me.”
Kelly and Connie share the list of names they were secretly given with Rosita and Eugene. Kelly states if the Milton’s are involved, they will keep it locked up.
Max tells someone that they could be the one to change this place and that they could be so much more. Is she talking to her brother Mercer? He is very obedient to the Commonwealth, but he is really? Is he just following orders and biding his time?
Why are Ezekiel and Tomi hiding from troopers at the hospital? What aid is Ezekiel giving the other patients that would require him to hide?
Where did the residents of Riverbend retreat to?
Our survivors are slowly starting to see the true nature of the Commonwealth. It is hard to tell where Governor Milton sits at this point as we haven’t seen much of her. We know she is very classist, but she doesn’t seem to be involved in Sebastian and Lance’s schemes. The next two episodes should be very interesting, leading viewers into the final eight episodes.
