When does part 3 of The Walking Dead come out?
By Renee Hansen
The final episode of The Walking Dead wrapped this week, so the new question is, when will part 3 of the series be released? Fans are looking forward to and dreading the final eight episodes as it will be exciting to see how things resolve, but it will also mean the show’s end.
The Walking Dead series has aired for twelve years, and many viewers have been with the series since the beginning. That is a long time to devote to one series. But, whether you have been a longtime watcher or someone who came in later on, the ending of a favorite show is hard to endure.
Luckily for Walking Dead fans, there are many spinoffs in the works that will fill the gap left by the flagship’s ending. Fear the Walking Dead will start again on April 17 and has been renewed for an eighth season. Tales of the Walking Dead will premiere in the summer of 2022. Isle of the Dead, the Maggie and Negan spinoff, and the Daryl and Carol spinoff will be released in 2023. A Fear TWD special, Dead in the Water, will air on AMC+ on April 10. So, there will be plenty of Walking Dead content to keep fans happy. And, The Walking Dead movies may finally begin production as well.
The Walking Dead season 11 part 3
No release date has been announced for the remaining eight episodes of The Walking Dead since filming for the final episode wrapped on March 30, 2022. But, if things follow last year’s schedule, the premiere for season 11A was announced in April, so we hope we can hear something soon.
Last year season 11A of TWD premiered on August 22, 2021. Tales of the Walking Dead will have six episodes in its first season and is announced for a summer of 2022 release.
Recently, AMC announced an epic live finale fan event that will take place in Los Angeles in November. If that is the case, then it is safe to say that with eight episodes remaining, season 11C will premiere at the very end of September or the beginning of October to allow for the final episode ever of The Walking Dead to air in November to coincide with this live fan event.
This is clearly speculation, but it would make sense with this new announcement. It will be bittersweet regardless of when the final eight episodes air, so prepare yourselves.
