Walking Dead’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan cast in new horror film
By Renee Hansen
The Walking Dead’s Jeffrey Dean Morgan is an actor very familiar with the horror genre. He has portrayed Negan on The Walking Dead for several seasons and has starred in many horror films. This week, Screen Daily reported that he has now been cast in a new horror film, Felix.
The film will be directed by John Kissack (Everfall) with a screenplay by Casey Giltner. Filming is scheduled to start in Winnipeg, Canada, this spring. Morgan will star with Benjamin Evan Ainsworth in a story about two young boys who have ambitions of becoming Hollywood directors. When one of their fathers finds an old ventriloquist’s doll named Felix, the boys cast the doll as their movie’s antagonist. It is soon discovered that Felix has a mind of his own and is responsible for disturbing events.
You can see Morgan in his other horror movies, The UnHoly, The Possession and The Resident. He also starred as the Winchester’s father in the Supernatural series.
