The Walking Dead series is airing its last set of episodes in the fall of 2022. These final eight episodes will be the end of the story for a series that has lasted for twelve years. A series that has been the highlight of a fandom that has grown beyond anyone’s wildest imagination.

When completed, season 11 of The Walking Dead will consist of 24 episodes, making it almost two seasons’ worth of episodes. When the end was first announced, 24 episodes seemed like a lot, and the end date seemed very far off. By November 2022, viewers will see the last of this series air on AMC.

The walls and windmill at Alexandria, located in Senoia, Georiga, are all but a memory as the walls are coming down, and the windmill has almost been completely dismantled. It is a sad time in the fandom, but it will live on.

Fear the Walking Dead will premiere the season 7 midseason premiere on April 17 on AMC at 9 p.m. E.T. This summer, the anthology spinoff series Tales of the Walking Dead will premiere its first season, which will consist of six episodes.

AMC+ also has a single episode of a Fear TWD spinoff series titled, Dead in the Water that looks at the crew of the USS Pennsylvania on the eve of the outbreak.
