Steven Yeun will always be known in The Walking Dead world for his portrayal of Glenn Rhee. But, since departing that series, Yeun has gone on to many other memorable roles. On July 22, 2022, fans will see him in Jordan Peele’s latest horror film, Nope. His fans are anxiously awaiting news on the second season of Invincible and his new comedy series for Netflix, Beef.

Recently, Prime Video teased the return of Invincible via Twitter with a short clip of Yeun in the recording studio. Yeun and JK Simmons, who also stars in the series, stated earlier in the year that recording had yet to be started for the second season. This clip seems to signify that they have begun or will be shortly.

Invincible is an adult animated superhero series created for Amazon Prime Video, based on the comic series by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley. Yeun plays the main character Mark Grayson, the superhero known as Invincible, whose father is Omni-Man (Simmons), the most powerful being on the planet. Sandra Oh rounds out the family in her portrayal of wife and mother, Debbie Grayson.
