Fear the Walking Dead’s seventh season has four remaining episodes before it concludes. The beginning of this season saw the survivors acclimating to their new surroundings amid nuclear fallout. The second half has everyone gearing up for war. But, the question forefront of most viewers’ minds is when will Madison make her return?

Season 7 began with Strand fixed in his Tower safe and sound. Morgan, Grace and Mo used the USS Pennsylvania as their safe place. June and John Dorie Sr. were snug in Teddy Maddox’s bunker. Sarah, Al,  Daniel, Wes, Charlie, and Luci took refuge at  Fort San Vicente after the helicopter that rescued them crashed. Dwight and Sherry had become the ethical outlaws known as the Dark Horses. They aided people looking for a mysterious place known as PADRE that was supposed to have been created by the Government with plans on how to rebuild after a catastrophe.

Alicia wasn’t seen until the seventh episode, “The Portrait,” and her story was picked up in the following episode, “Padre.” The story picked up after Teddy locked her in the bunker and saw her meet Teddy’s other chosen ones, which she was to lead. She eventually got bit by a walker, lost her arm, and has continued to battle fevers. She also declared war on her long-time friend Strand.

A new threat known as the Stalkers came to light and would be discovered to be part of the chosen ones to break away from Alicia and were led by a man named Arno.

Fans of Madison’s have long believed she never died at the Dell Diamond. After all, her body was never seen, and in The Walking Dead universe, we all know what that means. When Kim Dickens announced her return on an episode of Talking Dead, most of the fandom was delighted to see her return.

But, with only four episodes remaining, when will viewers see her?

The best guess is that she will appear in the fifteenth episode of season 7, titled “Amina.” This title is believed to be a clue as Madison shared a story during her interview with Al about a bird Nick and Alicia cared for as children while on vacation. Madison refused to give Al her name, so she titled her interview tape Amina.

This episode was written by showrunners Andrew Chambliss & Ian Goldberg and directed by Michael Satrazemis. This trio is a powerhouse and a fitting group to handle Madison’s return episode and have it make an impact. Add to that; this will mark the 100th episode of Fear the Walking Dead. It only makes sense to memorize a momentous episode with an original character’s return. Only time will tell if this is the episode we see Madison make her long-awaited return to the series.

Fear the Walking Dead “Amina” will premiere on AMC on May 29 and AMC+ on May 22.

UPDATE 5/23/2022 – Spoilers ahead regarding Madison’s return; tread lightly

The Fear the Walking Dead season 7 finale promo trailer has been released. This episode is titled “Gone” and will premiere on AMC on June 5. AMC+ will premiere this episode on May 29.

The promo trailer for the finale followed the recent “Amina” episode that is available on AMC+ and will air on AMC on May 29. The trailer reveals that Madison Clark finally makes her return to the series in the final episode of season 7. She aids Morgan and baby Mo in the clip below.

Morgan recently left with Mo searching for a safe place while the battle for the Tower began. It appears he runs into a bit of trouble during his mission, and luckily Madison comes to his aid. These two characters have never met, so fans are excited to see how they will get on. Morgan handles things very differently than the Madison of previous seasons.

Madison will become a series regular again in the upcoming season 8, which is scheduled to begin filming in June.
