San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) is only one month away, and it is fun to look back on The Walking Dead’spresence at the event in previous years. In 2011 The Walking Dead series would see its second appearance at SDCC, which promoted season 2 of the series that would start in October of that year, and the new season would see an increase in episode number from season 1’s six episodes to thirteen.
The 2011 event saw many fan favorites in attendance, including Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Sarah Wayne Callies, Laurie Holden, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Jeffrey DeMunn, director and executive producer Frank Darabont, ep Gale Anne Hurd, ep Robert Kirkman and SPX master Greg Nicotero.
Season 2 would see some new faces with Scott Wilson as Hershel Greene, Lauren Cohan as his daughter Maggie, Emily Kinney as his other daughter Beth, Pruitt Taylor Vince will playing the Greene family farm hand, Otis, Jane McNeill as Patricia, Otis’ wife and James Allen McCune as Jimmy, Beth’s boyfriend. This season would also see additional guest appearances by Michael Zegen as Randall and Michael Raymond-James as Dave.
