As this is the final season of The Walking Dead, it is only fitting that the series has been given an amazing exhibit at the Museum of Living Image in Astoria, New York. The exhibit, Living with the Walking Dead, opened in June and will be on display until January 1, 2023.

The Associated Press gave fans a look inside the exhibit showing more of what is on display in a video featured below. For those fans who won’t have the opportunity to make it to New York to see it in person, it is wonderful that many have shown photos and videos of what there is to see at this once-in-a-lifetime event.

The Walking Dead is a groundbreaking series that has significantly influenced the zombie genre and pop culture. Viewers will tell you this is more than a zombie series; this show features characters that fans become invested in and come back each episode to see how their story will develop.

The exhibit features many props, costumes and prosthetics used in the series, all of which fans will recognize. In the video shared by AP, you can see some truly fantastic pieces on display. The footage includes Frank Darabont’s personalized chair back, a script with notes, the infamous bunny slippers from the pilot episode, Alpha’s Whisperer mask and costume, pike scene heads, and various walker masks, including the well walker from Hershel’s farm.

Another truly remarkable area is the fan art display. Sadly, more artists aren’t on display, but it is such an honor for the artists who were able to be featured in this exhibit for their talents as Walking Dead artists. Throughout the series, there have been many artists who have devoted their craft to the series.

If you get a chance, don’t miss the Living with the Walking Dead display at the  Museum of the Moving Image.
