Jeffrey Dean Morgan celebrates National Tattoo Day
By Renee Hansen
Fans of The Walking Dead and Isle of the Dead actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan know he is fond of tattoos and has often gotten buddy tats with close friends. This year on National Tattoo Day, July 18, he got a matching tattoo with his best and closest friend, his wife, Hilarie Burton Morgan.
On their wedding day, the Morgans enlisted a tattoo artist to ink their guests at the reception. Guests, including Jared Ackles and Jared Padalecki, commemorated the occasion with a special tattoo on their wrists. Morgan has also gotten matching tattoos with fellow Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus.
It only makes sense that he would also get matching ink with the love of his life. They shared their matching ink via their MF Libations Instagram page. They each now sport the word MISCHIEF on their arm.

Mischief is an important word to the couple. The farm they live on is called Mischief Farm, and their new libations company is MF Libations. They often use the phrase “Let’s make mischief.” And, why not? Life is short, and everyone can use a little mischief in their lives.
This is something they pass on to their children as well. They always do fun activities and vacations with their children, encouraging them to have fun and be themselves.
Morgan recently shared that Isle of the Dead is ready to begin production. This is undoubtedly exciting as fans know the main series will end this fall. This spin off will feature Morgan’s Negan and Laurie Cohan’s Maggie on an adventure to the island of Manhattan. Nothing else has been revealed about the plot, but perhaps more info will come from Comic Con 2022 or the final episodes of The Walking Dead season 11c.
