Tales of the Walking Dead behind the scenes photos

Seeing what goes on behind the scenes in our favorite series is always fun. AMC has released some great BTS photos from the latest spinoff series, Tales of the Walking Dead. This series will premiere on AMC on August 14 at 9 p.m. ET. AMC+ Subscribers can watch the first episode on Thursday, August 11.

The first episode is “Evie/Joe” and stars Olvia Munn and Terry Crews. This pair worked together previously on the HBO series The Newsroom. Their chemistry in the episode is outstanding as they seamlessly blend comedic elements with horror.

The episode is described as a road trip of sorts as Joe leaves the confines of his bunker to find a fellow prepper and comes across Evie, someone who is completely opposite of his personality and way of life. They become travel companions as they search for their missing loved ones.

Tales of the Walking Dead photos

The second episode, “Blair/Gina,” airs on AMC on August 21, 2022, and stars Parker Posey, Jillian Bell and Matt Medrano. This episode is a reality-twisting buddy comedy. Gina (Bell) and her overbearing boss Blair (Posey) must battle their way through Atlanta during the early days of the outbreak.

“Dee” is the third episode that airs on August 28, 2022, starring Samantha Morton, Scarlett Blum, Lauren Glazier and Eric Tiede. This story features Alpha, back when she was known as Dee. This story, partially set on a river boat, shows the lengths a mother will go to protect her child.

On September 4, 2022, Anthony Edwards and Poppy Liu will star in “Amy/Dr. Everett.” This episode is set in a location known as the “dead sector” that is only populated by one man and a horde of walkers. As he studies them, he encounters a lone settler believing the land should be taken back from the undead.

“Davon” airs on September 11, 2022 and stars Jessie T. Usher, Embeth Davidtz, Loan Chabanol and Gage Munroe. Described as noir-ish, this episode features a young man who, when he awakes, discovers he has no idea where he is or any memory of how he got there. He needs to figure things out quickly as the townspeople accuse him of murder.

The final episode of this season, “La Doña,” airs on September 18, 2022, and stars Danny Ramirez, Daniella Pineda and Julie Carmen. An apocalypse-traumatized couple appears to encounter a haunted house, and frightening memories threaten their minds and relationship.
