Tales Of The Walking Dead, Evie/Joe: Things To Note

Tales Of The Walking Dead has begun! And, with the start of a new Walking Dead show comes a brand-new installment of Things To Note! If I’m being honest, Tales of The Walking Dead is the show I’ve been clamoring for for years. Suppose you look back through some of my articles. In that case, I’ve been begging for webisodes or series of webisodes following stories of characters within the Walking Dead universe who maybe we’ve never met or have long since been gone from the series and Tales of TWD is exactly that show.

The first episode introduced us to a new character, Joe (Terry Crews), a doomsday prepper in Ohio who, after losing his beloved dog, Gilligan, decides to venture out into the open world to locate a friend he made before the outbreak, a fellow prepper with the screen name “USHLDBSCRD” (You Should Be Scared), who Joe deduces lives in the neighboring state of Michigan. Along the way, he meets another survivor named Evie (Played by Olivia Munn), who is also on her way to Michigan in search of her estranged husband, Steven, who returned to his family cabin after a bitter argument.

What follows is something of a weird buddy/road trip story as the pair make their way through Ohio and onto Michigan, only to run into trouble at the last leg of their journey. For our purposes, I will go back and tackle all of the little details from this episode so that you don’t miss them the second time!
