Good news for Walking Dead and Vikings: Valhalla fans Pollyanna McIntosh will star in the second season of the Netflix original series. McIntosh took to social media to plug the series and announce that she would return in the next season of the series.

McIntosh portrays Queen Ælfgifu, who was the regent of Norway from 1030 to 1035. She was the first wife of Cnut the Great (Bradley Freegard ), and the mother of Harold Harefoot (Ruben Lawless).

She shared the image below and commented how she loved to ADR (additional dialogue recording) for her character for scenes from season 2. She also gave shout-outs to the artist and organizers who make Vikings: Valhalla such a fantastic series.

Pollyanna McIntosh – Vikings: Valhalla, Walking Dead and more

Vikings: Valhalla tells the stories of the most famous Vikings in history, Leif Eriksson, his sister Freydis Eriksdotter, Nordic prince Harald Sigurdsson, and Norman King William the Conqueror. There has been no announcement for a release date for season 2, but in the meantime, you can watch season 1 on Netflix. The series has already been renewed for a third season.

McIntosh portrayed Anne/Jadis in The Walking Dead universe, in both the flagship series and spinoff, The Walking Dead: World Beyond. Rumors were circulating that Jadis would star in the series of Walking Dead films that have now been canceled, and in its place, a new series starring Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira). Will we see Jadis in this series? After all, she is the one who used Rick as her bargaining chip to gain entrance to the Civic Republic. We will likely see her at some point.

She has several new projects in the works, including a romance short, The Politics of Dancing, and an Irish horror thriller Double Blind. She has also lent her voice talents to a video game, Forspoken, and will star in a sci-fi film, The Primary Talent.
