Tales of the Walking Dead’s Eric Tiede starring Leverage: Redemption
By Renee Hansen
The newest Walking Dead spinoff series, Tales of the Walking Dead, has introduced a brand new list of actors to TWD Family. One of those actors, Eric Tiede, starred in the third episode of the series “Dee” as a character named Nolan. Teide has recently wrapped filming on another project, Leverage: Redemption and will star in The Serpent Queen with his “Dee” co-star Samantha Morton.
This article contains spoilers from Tales of the Walking Dead episode 3, “Dee.”
Tiede was fortunate to star in what might be the best Tales of the Walking Dead episode in season 1. This story opened a new chapter in the book of Alpha, played by Samantha Morton in the flagship series. It was a twist on a story about a character viewers thought they knew everything about. Teide played Nolan, boyfriend to Brooke (Lauren Glazier), leader of a group of survivors who set up their community on a river boat.
Brooke’s group took in a mother and daughter, Alpha, known as Dee at the time, and a young Lydia (Scarlett Blum). Eventually, the boat was overrun, and everyone but Dee, Lydia and Brooke escaped with their lives. We never saw Nolan killed, so perhaps he did survive.
The story takes a significant turn at the end as viewers discover it wasn’t Alpha who created the Whispers.
It is a fantastic episode; if you haven’t watched it yet, you really should.
